Selena Gomez Just Helped Us Identify The Single Best Summer T-Shirt For Women Who Hate Going Sleeveless

Sometimes we stay up til 1:42AM searching bleary-eyed for an item of clothing we could swear we saw a dozen perfect versions of online just last month. And other times, the perfect piece of clothing finds us.
Such was the case when we watched Jennifer Aniston’s new Instagram in which she does Benny Blanco’s hair. It’s a very cute plug for her haircare brand Lolavie, a brand we’ve actually tried and loved, but what we really went away wanting was a t-shirt worn in a cameo made by Mrs. Benny Blanco, née Selena Gomez.

It’s called the Pilcro Ruffled V-Neck Half-Sleeve Tee*, and Selena got it from our favorite mall brand Anthropologie. (Stars, they’re just like us.) But what makes this tee special to the point we decided to write a whole article about it? We’ll give you a guess. Here’s a photo:

It’s the sleeve length! A 3/4 sleeve is among the most advanced solutions for those of us who aren’t in love with showing the fleshiest part of our arms come summer. This top has ribbing that holds us in and a length that doesn’t require tucking for it to look polished and flattering. It also comes in this divine pink color, which is great because the white keeps selling out of many sizes:
It also happens to be on sale. That and the fact the Selena Gomez wore it on Jennifer Aniston’s instagram in a video that got more than 700k likes, means sadly, it’s sold out of several sizes in white. But there are other equally flattering 3/4 tops out there, which we’ll get to next.

Please ignore the fact that the model has rolled down her pants and is therefore showing a large expanse of torso. With high-waist pants, this top covers your belly, and actually makes your waist look narrower and your legs look longer, even though it’s spacious. That’s the power of a good cut.

The lace detail turns every dumb pair of jeans we wear into a complete, styled look. We will be buying it in multiple colors, though we can’t even narrow it down to 3. And several of the colors come in plus.
