Jennifer Garner Swears By These 3 Products To Get Perfectly Beachy Hair

As much as that OTHER Jen still reigns as the Hollywood Hair Queen, there’s something about Jennifer Garner’s girl-next-door beauty that feels actually attainable.

She has the shiniest, glossiest hair we’ve ever seen, yet it all seems so effortless.

And since all we ever want are those “natural” “beach waves” we see all over Pinterest, we discovered she has an approachable 3-step tutorial that we’re going to start trying immediately. Like, tonight.

Of course, she IS an ambassador for hair brand Virtue Labs (and don’t worry, this is NOT sponsored by them), so we take her hair routines with a grain of salt.

But still, her natural waves are just so good, we’re willing to listen to anything she says.

According to Jen, she’s had “bone stick straight hair” her entire life “until the age of 47 or 48” (how is this woman 49 years old?), when she discovered that she has texture! Saaaaaaaaaame, Jen. Same.

Here are the 3 products that make up her routine, in order of usage:

Virtue Labs 6-in-1 Styler

For her first step after she showers, she squirts a quarter-size of this cream into her hands and scrunches it through her damp hair.

She claims it’s the first product in her life that she’s ever completely finished. And if you’re always on the hunt for the best styling products, you know that’s a herculean feat.

But, this next part is the most surprising; after scrunching, she dries her hair with a paper towel, a hack she picked up from her stylist. While that’s a TOUCH too much for us, we bought and tried this product and it is absolutely excellent and really can replace many products so that you can just use this one and be done.

PRICE: $34

Virtue Labs Healing Oil

Next, she uses this oil, which she describes as “delicious” and “very light.”

She shakes “to activate,” and then dispenses 2 pumps into her palm. She runs it just through the ends of her hair, and spends the whole day smelling the ends of her hair.

We also tried this oil and while it’s not life-changing, it’s very light, and does indeed smell heavenly. We LOVE that it didn’t weigh our hair down.

PRICE: $44

Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer

Yes, this is that stupidly expensive hair dryer that only celebrities can afford.

But. It comes with like 18 different attachments (ok, maybe 5), including the diffuser, which is what Jen specifically uses.

She attaches the diffuser to her dryer, and on the medium setting, gently scrunches the diffuser upwards from the ends of her hair.

Because she’s a relatable gal, she takes this time to acknowledge she’s never had the patience in her life to blow dry her hair, but if she must, she pops in her Airpods and listens to a podcast or audiobook, which has never occurred to us until now and is the only thing that might motivate us to blow dry our hair more often.

We do love the Dyson. Buuuuuut we just bought this dupe on Amazon and so far we love it just as much.

PRICE: $430

She finishes off her hair with a little more of Virtue’s hair oil, and is left with windswept, beachy, almost-messy-but-in-the-best-way-possible hair.

She lays out this 3-step process in a video for Harper’s Bazar which we’ve been watching on a loop because she’s just so darling and charismatic:
