Remember how alluring Abercrombie & Fitch was when we were young? Remember how their fragrance wafted into the mall and beckoned you in but your mom wouldn’t dare set foot in there? Remember the blasting music emanating from the front doors that made it feel like something supremely exclusive must be happening within those walls?
And remember how much all of that seems so atrociously gimmicky and uncool and you wouldn’t enter an Abercrombie & Fitch store now if someone paid you?
Same.
Except that someone told us their favorite hoodie was from Abercrombie so we naturally had to order it just to tell them they’re wrong. But we couldn’t.
Because it was so soft.
It was so well fitting.
It was so well made.
And we sort of couldn’t believe it.
So we put in a huge order, tried a million things, and kept exclaiming how flattering and comfortable everything is. But this all happened with very furrowed brows because we are all still in total disbelief writing these words.
Abercrombie & Fitch makes nice clothes. Pretty, flattering, soft, well-made, well-fitting clothes.
