Telling you our favorite things as a brand can feel sort of self-important … maaaaaaaaaybe even a little pretentious.
But then we remember that we’re just some girls (all over 40 mind you) sitting in front of a website, telling you we love this. And it all feels much better.
Honestly, there’s nothing more fun to us than sharing what’s been thrilling us and making our lives a little more whimsical each day. Why we love it: For starters, you don’t need a base or top coat. Just this. The shine is like so milky and minimalist and un-ruinable. We’ve bought a bottle for every woman we remotely care for because they inevitably tell us how great it is for months. We’re self-congratulating that way.

Why we love it: We’d almost forgotten the glorious rush of snapping a photo we couldn’t stop everything we’re doing to stare at our phones and critique right away. Something about a screen-free camera feels more permanent, each photo more one of a kind. We’ve missed that feeling. That said, we don’t miss the depressing lines to pick up our film at CVS. Why we love it: Listen to us when we say we never dreamed our clothes could smell this good. We’ve been having a looong love affair with Dedcool’s non-perfumey, deeply gorgeous scents, so when they started making their fresh nectar, creamy marshmallow, and delicate rice Mochi Milk scent into a dryer sheet, we never hit “add to cart” faster. Now we hoard them for fear they’ll disappear. We almost didn’t want to write about them.

8. This Glassy Detangler That Saves Our Brittle Summer Hair

Why we love it: We’ve talked up this detangler for some time now, because it’s done so much more for our aging hair than just detangle. It creates the lightest, glassiest finish, while protecting our increasingly dry strands from the heat. We lose so much less hair from using a detangler when we brush, we feel dumb we didn’t start sooner. And unlike other product it’s so light, it feels like nothing in our hair. There’s some wizardry at work here.
