We realize it’s unusual for women our age to say we have a favorite handbag. Bags aren’t like bras where it takes us half a million years to just to settle on one we like. You might even say we are at our lustiest when it comes to handbags. We fall in love with bag after bag, one after the other after the other.
But alas, we recently realized that our hearts had settled on a single bag that we kept coming back to. We even wrote about it being our favorite everyday bag HERE. It’s from the brand Clare V., and it so happens that in addition to making our favorite bag in the world, they also makes our three favorite bags for summer.
Now, whether or not you’re planning to travel this season, each of these bags make you FEEL like you’re padding around Martha’s Vineyard with a giant strawberry ice cream cone in hand from Mad Martha’s listening to ocean waves and looking your absolute chicest.

We actually cheated and chose two bags in this category, because both are the right size and both come in a sea of gorgeous colors. It’s really just a matter of which shape you prefer, starting with this one:

Why We Love It: This is the petite version of Clare V.’s famous Moyen Messenger*, but somehow, everything we carry fits inside of this size and makes us question why we ever carry anything bigger. It’s crossbody which is the only comfy way to wear a bag, and there are endless options for colors, textures, straps*, and charms* which makes it like owning four bags instead of one. Why We Love It: This little square bag is beloved by many a celebrity.
