We rarely write about an entire brand, whether it’s clothes or health or beauty, because the reality is that not everything every brand makes it great. So we typically will discover some incredible single find and gush about it endlessly. Sometimes we write reviews of our favorite individual products like this and this and this, or we write round ups like this, this, and this.
But today we are talking about ONE brand, because every, single thing we’ve tried of theirs, has been astonishing:
iS Clinical.
We discovered THIS home peel they make (the before and after photos will stun you) and because it worked so well, we naturally wanted to try some of their other products. And … wow.
Here are our 7 favorite products from iS Clinical that are now in our permanent daily regimen as gals in our 40s who have sensitive skin, are usually very dehydrated, and also get random hormonal breakouts—the true trifecta!
1. Cleansing Complex
This is a big statement but we’re saying it: this is the best face cleanser we’ve ever used. We have typically used very gentle cleansers like Cerave or Aveeno, along with a first step of an oil cleanser to remove makeup and get a deep clean of our pores. With this cleanser, we find we don’t have to. It removes makeup, gives us the deepest clean, is so unbelievably softening on the skin, AND never leaves our skin feeling tight. It’s more than we’ve ever paid for a cleanser but we need so little of it so it seems to last longer than others. We’re so hooked we now have one at our sink and one in our shower. It’s made for sensitive and blemish prone skin, while also being an anti-aging product. We will never be without it. This feels weird to say because cleansers seem so unimportant, but if you only try one thing on this list, make it this.

2. Super Serum Advance+
We know the name sounds complicated, but this is simply your everyday vitamin C serum. And as we have written about before, there are basically 3 essential anti-aging products everyone should be using, and vitamin C is one of them. We use a 3-4 drops in the morning after cleansing and let it sink in while doing other stuff—vitamin c is often a little bit tacky. We absolutely have noticed a brightening of our skin, and an overall glow such that foundation/highlighter isn’t even necessary. Or we just use THIS for a tint. Vitamin C lessens wrinkles, scar tissue, evens skin tone, protects against antioxidants, and truly if you’re looking for ONE product to add to your routine that will create an almost instant improvement in your skin tone and texture, this is it.

3. Active Serum
We fear you won’t believe us when we say this is the most thrilling night serum we’ve tried. Ever. We’re actually working very hard at not being too hyperbolic about these products for fear of you not trusting a word we say or assuming we’re being paid to say them (we’re not) but we do have to be a bit rapturous about this night serum. We feel seen by this night serum. Like, emotionally. Spiritually, perhaps. Why? As sensitive skinned gals who are on a daily, desperate hunt (QUEST?!) for anti-aging products but are ALSO prone to breakouts, we typically feel left out of the night cream/night serum game. The only way we can ever truly feel confident about waking up with decent skin is by … putting nothing on our face at night. But then, we miss out on ever getting anti-aging benefits of active-filled products. This serum is a miraculous combination of pore-reducer, wrinkle-smoother, and blemish fighter. It’s won countless awards, and now we understand why. We use only a few drops at night, with nothing else, and we wake up with dewy, balanced, plump, blemish-free skin.
Side note: the first time we used this serum was on a day we noticed a pimple on our chin. We took the plunge and used a few drops at night. The next morning the pimple was nearly gone. And since using this, not a blemish in sight.

4. Reparative Moisture Emulsion
This is THE daily moisturizer to try if your skin is always dull and dehydrated but you worry about using super thick creams for fear of breaking out. It’s bursting with hyaluronic acid and peptides and deeply hydrates the skin while never feeling heavy. It’s so lovely and lightweight that it’s almost like a primer for underneath makeup, and your makeup will never slide around.

5. Clinical Youth Eye Complex
Pro tip—if you have eye bags, there is really no eye cream on earth that will help. It’s typically genetic, or it can mean you’re retaining water in which case cut back on bread and salt. So if that’s your issue this eye cream won’t do anything. But if you’re bothered by crows feet or those criss-cross lines appearing under your eyes when you smile or just general eye crepey quality on your lower and upper eyelids, this cream will DEFINITELY help. Miraculous difference within about 3 weeks. Lines are softened, deeper wrinkles are actively minimized. We don’t see a difference in brightening so we think our next product to try will be THIS and we’ll report back.

6. Body Complex
We are no strangers to body cream. We’ve tried thousands. Ok maybe just hundreds. We’ve written about THIS affordable French brand and THIS luscious cream that gives a gorgeous sheen and counts Demi Moore as a fan. So we felt like we had the body cream category locked. But little did we know ... we needed this one. It made our skin softer than anything else we’ve ever used, got rid of our KP bumps on the backs of our arms, and even softened our chest lines and knee-crepe. Why? Well it has retinol in it. Of course. And of course that makes perfect sense. We use a small amount and it spreads gorgeously and evenly and has zero stickiness. We are also now vigilant about using SPF on our body though—a must if you use retinol. If you’re happy with your body skin texture, you should skip this given the price. But if you’re seeing some crepey bits and various chicken skin and arm bumps you’d prefer were banished back whence they came, try this.

7. Active Peel System

But here are the cliff’s notes: don’t be afraid of a peel even if you have sensitive skin. Try it once a week for baby soft, bright, glowing skin. It takes about 3 minutes to use . It works for nearly every skin type. You’ll love it. Phew.
