But the real joy in finally loving our entire wardrobe is in discovering those little gems that fill in gaps we didn’t even realize we had. The pieces that make our outfits sing, and therefore, make us happier.

1. A Cashmere hoodie so you can live in lounge clothes but in a fancy way

We all just want to be house-slobs all the time (you too?!) and this hoodie is the solution. But there’s a twist. It’s cashmere. We love it peaking out from under a jean jacket or a wool coat. It’s that mix of casual and chic that we’re always looking for—and cashmere for this price is unheard of.

2. A Non-Black, Very Soft, very easy coat
A lot of coats look the same. And feel the same. This one is different. For starters, the minute you veer from black, you’re doing something “interesting” with clothes. We believe the fashion people call it a "point of view.” A cream or plaid coat can be just as neutral as black, but without blending in or blocking you out. And this coat has the added thrill of being knit, so it’s soffffft, buttery soft, your-friends-keep-trying-to-touch-it soft. 4. A big, chunky pair of boots that make you feel sort of invincible

In addition to offering actual arch support and supreme comfort, a lug-sole gives us height and balances our clothes. What does balance mean? It means we throw on these boots with our skin-tight jeans and long column skirts and lazy leggings (see below) and suddenly we feel curvy and gorgeous and not like an upside down triangle. We’ve also been known to have a slouchy sock spilling out the top. It’s our winter uniform. And it never fails.

We love leggings in winter, because they layer so well under our enormous coats and sweaters and glide into our ankle boots without bunching up like every pair of our stupid jeans. But most of them make us feel like we're going to the gym, (or guilty for not going to the gym), so we only ever feel half-dressed. But this pair has zero lines, is incredibly smoothing, and still feels like we’re cradled in loungewear. And they size up to 3X.

Dressing up in winter feels even more like a chore. We’re dry. Unshaven. Cold. A long slip skirt is a tall, transformative drink of elegance. It still looks sleek with tights and boots and enormous sweaters. 8. The Tee That Makes Clothes Go From Worn to “Styled”
Shirts are boring, but this one is almost like an instant outfit-maker. Yes, it feels like a simple long sleeve t-shirt, but because stripes are instantly chic and French, it makes you look completely put together. And you must click to see all the color combination—impossible to choose a favorite. Oh and don’t give us any guff about stripes making you look wide. They don’t. That was just our moms making us feel insecure.
