I personally write a lot about jeans on this site. Jeans are just very, very complicated for most of us. And in fact it took me until I was around 40 to truly wear jeans in my everyday life. They always felt so constricting and stupid and the waist gaps were always diabolical.

We’ve written about these very affordable jeans, and they are surprisingly good. We’ve written about these very expensive jeans, and they are UNsurprisingly good.

I didn’t own anything from Good American before these jeans. I’ve never seen an ep of a Kardashian show. I don’t feel any extreme feeling about any of them—except maybe Kourtney because we go to the same farmers market and her SUV and bodyguards are so huge I often can’t get in the parking lot. I love Skims, and I’ve seen Kim at my mall many times, and she’s tiny. That is the literal extent of my knowledge of the K Krew. I feel like I had to tell you that be because people have such strong reactions, so do with this information what you will.

But let’s get to the jeans. And I saved the best for last.

1. Always Fits Good Legs Straight Jeans

WHAT: Always Fits Good Legs Straight Jeans*

The good: These are the jeans that claim to fit sizes 6-12 which is a very interesting concept. They’re also supremely comfortable

The bad: I’m a size 6/28 in jeans and due to reviews, I actually ordered all the jeans in a size 8, which was the right move. These are quite fitted so I can’t imagine a bigger size making these work.

The verdict: For this style I would actually do the Bella Stretch Relaxed Straight Jeans from Quince because I still had a waist gap and when I sit down the entire rump area pulls down.

Price: $159

2. Good Ease Relaxed Jeans

WHAT: Good Ease Relaxed Jeans*

The good: These are, quite possibly, the most comfortable jeans I’ve ever slithered into. They’re VERY stretchy and oversized so the waistband feels like nothing and there is absolutely zero waist gap and plenty of room in the butt and thighs.

The bad: Literally nothing. Maybe that they’re too long on me so I’m going to slice an inch off with scissors (I always do this and I never tailor them because the frayed hem is what I want), but I also think this is a positive for all the tall gals who can’t ever find jeans that are long enough.

The verdict:
I will wear these jeans constantly. I may size down to my normal size 6 because they’re loose in the waist/stomach. But they truly feel like leggings and I am in a full rhapsody.

Price: $128

3. Soft Tech Good Classic Bootcut Jeans

WHAT: Soft Tech Good Classic Bootcut Jeans*

The good: Well. Do I even need to say what’s good about these jeans? I can scarcely even believe this is me in the photos. So stretchy, such a great fit (these are also a size 8 and I wouldn’t size down) and the best part is … the pocket placement.

I’m saying it now: no other pair of jeans have given me such a good butt. And it always come down to pocket placement.

The bad: These are also a bit long and I’ll have to cut them. But whatever. I’ve found my best butt jeans. A small price to pay.

The verdict:
I will be buying them in every wash they make*, pronto.

Price: $168
