WHY: Every chic, classic, “clean girl” understands the quiet power of a good flip flop. Flip flops are minimalist, laid back, comfy, and they match EVERYTHING.
So it’s no wonder the queen of chic, classic, clean girl minimalism, Jennifer Aniston, would also be the queen of flip flops.

And naturally, she’d be able to tell us which brand makes the very best - the ones with a timeless design, the best color selection, and the single most comfortable flip flop/ shoe you’ll ever slip on.
They’re from a brand called Archies*. Jen owns them in no fewer than 3 colors as you can see here. Here’s just a sampling of the shades they come in.
These flips boast more than 100,000 5-star reviews, in no small part because they’re designed by a physical therapist with built-in foot support that molds to your foot in a way that’s addictive. You can actually see the arch support arch and this very comfy support around the toes that makes them heaven for our old, tired feet. We can walk in them for miles.
But unlike so many “supportive” flip flops, they still look very graceful and understated and not at all chunky and clunky.
They’re $40 a pair and constructed to last - far, far from the kinds of flips you have to replace at at a hotel gift shop each year because they fell apart on the beach.
The black* and tan* are staples we pair with everything during the day and black dresses in the evening, because something about seeing the skin on our feet makes a flip flop alluring enough to wear out to dinner.
That said, we also bought them in chili red*, because it’s magic with all jeans or if you're wearing all black or all white, because it adds something fun except WHOOPS you're also just making your choices entirely based on comfort but WHOOPS you're also chic.
Because a flip flop is one of those things, we only need the best version of (possibly in a few colors) to go on our merry way, we’re very happy to have that boxed check off as we head into summer. We’ve already tossed all our old, sad, peeling, plastic flips.
