WHAT: Rothy’s The Daily Flat*
WHY: We love flats on other people. Like this person for example:
There is, simply put, nothing more chic.
But there’s something about a flat that makes us feel like they only work on gamine beauties like Audrey H, so we have heretofore kept our distance.
But imagine our shock and delight when we discovered not only a flattering flat that didn’t make us feel like an upside down triangle, but also one that felt so delicious on the foot, we continue to wear them INSIDE THE HOME upon arrival? (Sort of similar to THIS bralette that is so unspeakably comfortable we don’t rip it off our bodies the second we walk in the door).

There is something about this particular pattern that makes every collection of clothes suddenly become an outfit, and what a delightful bonus that these flats are so supportive and glorious on the foot that one never worries about a shred of foot pain—even throughout a full day of shopping or walking or running around with kids.
If you watch to the end of that video, you can see with your own eyes the flexibility and squishability (not a word?) that makes these shoes essentially the only ones we start to wear as the weather becomes even slightly more cool.

There’s also a point version* that we are promptly buying in red* because a red shoe with tan or white or denim is absolutely and unequivocally chic.
