The Skincare Tool We Didn’t Know We Needed But Now Can’t Live Without

WHAT: Droplette

WHY: We sort of assumed that if we just slather enough creams/serums/oils all over our faces/necks/lives, we can turn back the hands of time and become the dewy/wet/glowing angels we were all meant to be.

But recently we were sent a very expensive new tool that has been bombarding our Insta and Facebook and we were FULLY convinced it was just the newest gimmicky thing we’d try once, see zero results, and never think about again.

We were so wrong.

Ok, so what even is this thing?

Welp. It’s called Droplette. And it delivers skincare ingredients as a micro-mist, which apparently can allow the product to penetrate 20 layers beneath your skin. 20 layers.

Ok, get ready for some NASA-backed ideas we don’t fully understand:

The mist that emerges from their proprietary “piezoelectric transducer” (is this what Chandler Bing did?) along with their unique “pump” system, creates droplets so tiny, their concentration on the skin is like nothing else. There’s also a huge amount of more sciencey ideas here that we’ve read over and over but feels almost too amazing to be true. They also have some shockingly impressive before-and-after photos, like this:

And to be honest, for our money, all that really matters is that when we used the “collagen” ampule every day with this mist, there was a VERY noticeable difference in the plumpness of our skin. Ready for this? All those other collagen products we all buy, that have promises of youth and plumpness and dewiness? They can’t even penetrate the skin because collagen has a HUGE molecular weight. So we’re just seeing the words “collagen-infused” and getting all excited, but topically it really can’t do much for us. So it makes sense that with these tiny micro drops of collagen, we really do see a big difference in our skin and especially our under-eyes.

They also offer glycolic ampules which are ideal for hyperpigmentation and blemishes, along with retinol ampules which target wrinkles.

Is it expensive? Yes. Are all the products sitting in our bathroom that don’t do a GD thing also expensive? Yes.

For us, we are willing to spend money on things that work. And post-40, investing in your skin just makes good sense. We wouldn’t spend kind of money on makeup. That’s just the paint.

We spend on the canvas. That’s where everything really begins.

PRICE: $299
