This Miiiiiiiight Be The Most Flattering White T-Shirt We’ve Ever Worn

WHY: We’ve never written about a truly great, simple t-shirt.
We’ve written about THIS shirt which is wildly flattering, and THIS sort of oversized shirt for our more “quirky” readers, but never just a plain, white t-shirt.
Why?
We’ve never worn one we truly love. Never. Until this one.
Of course, it’s from Everlane.
It’s thin, which is absolutely paramount, both for comfort and for chicness. The neck is wide and open which is widely flattering both for bigger and smaller busts, and the arm-holes (which is a gross phrase) are so comfortable you won’t be pulling on them all day like you KNOW you do with all your other t-shirts. You know the ones. You buy like 4 of them because you think you’ve found your dream t-shirt but then they end up sitting in your drawers because they’re not quite right.
This t-shirt? It’s quite right.
We love it with a little bandana around the neck with jeans, or under a blazer, or literally 587 ways because it’s a simple white t-shirt and why are we telling you how to wear it except maybe we should keep going because sometimes infinite choices feel exhausting? Ok we will.
We love it with the first pair of pants on THIS list, tucked in, with a sandal or a loafer. Couldn’t be a simpler outfit, and yet all the pieces are so thoughtful so you feel entirely put together.
We especially adore it under THIS jean jacket which we wear constantly in the fall, especially with any of the flowy skirts from THIS article.
We also throw it on over THESE and even though that’s baaaaaasically pajamas, if we fling a sweater around our waist and wear our fave white sneakers and do a quickie top knot, we look almost presentable!
If you’re laughing at us for telling you how to wear a t-shirt, you have every right. We’re mildly embarrassed. But it’s strange how sometimes the simplest things in our wardrobes become so basic, that we forget they’re actually the best things we own.
This t-shirt will become that for you. It did for us.
