We tried ours alongside the original and truly couldn’t tell a difference (apart from the absence of aching guilt for having spent our entire grocery budget on a sweater).

As “cozy people,” we won’t do even the slightest ounce of scratchiness or stiffness. The cashmere is heavenly soft. Addictively so.
The spacious boyfriend fit feels like a throw blanket but drapes gorgeously. It’s the prettiest layering piece and balances anything tight we wear under it, from a ribbed midi dress to skinny jeans or leggings.
The drop shoulder is extremely flattering and unrestrictive on arms.
The color selection is to die for. The oatmeal feels essential, but we have 3 other colors currently in our cart.
The price is unreal for 100% cashmere not to mention this level of craftsmanship.

Ok, so now is about the time you may be asking how they have these low prices. Basically, their idea was to cut costs by also cutting out the supply-chain middleman and shipping direct from manufacturer to consumer. The effect is more affordable, better quality things we don’t wind up having to toss or replace because they’re made of some awful cheap material that falls apart after a year.

Realistically, we’ll be wearing this cardi more than any other piece of outerwear in our closet. Because let’s face it, the moment there’s so much as a whisper of chill in the air, be it from the swirl of autumn or some erratic AC vent in our office, 97% of the time we reach for the lushness of our sweaters.

The fact that they’re now equated with high-fashion and luxury is really just a perk. But much like high-waisted pants, we see it as our duty to keep this trend alive.
