This Might Just Be The Perfect Nude Gloss We’ve Been Searching For Since The Dawn Of Time

WHAT: The Outset Lip Oasis™ Glossy Treatment In Dune*

WHY: On the one hand, we’re not entirely surprised that the woman with potentially the most beautiful lips ever to exist is the same woman who created the best nude lip gloss ever to exist.

On the other hand, we are highly, highly, highly skeptical of “celebrity” beauty brands because, well, do we even have to explain why?

But. Friends. Women of earth. Please hear us when we tell you that this gloss is unreal.

What is it? The Outset Lip Oasis in the color Dune*. And we are sick over it.

So the best way we can possibly show you its magic is by showing you a before and after of one of us wearing some regular dumb gloss and then another photo wearing this magic gloss.

WHAT? HOW? WHERE?

And because we love a vivid side-by-side to really feel convinced, here you go:

1. How is it so plumping? Yes, we are using THIS liner, but it’s very sheer and we didn’t over line.

2. How is the color so unearthly and perfect?

3. How does it not sting when it clearly plumps?

4. How is this not some kind of a lip filler cheat masquerading as a lip gloss? (It isn’t, but we would be asking the same thing).

We … can’t tell you the answer to any of those questions. Because invariably nearly every nude gloss we try is too orange, too pink, too washed out. And if the color works, the formula is sticky. And if it’s plumping, it hurts.

But this one. Ohhhhh this one.

Apparently it has something called Maxi-Lip to help our lips produce more collagen while making them more firm and defined. It also uses squalane derived from sugarcane which helps with its immense hydration and therefore, its ability to soften lip wrinkles.

We also love that there’s only a handful of colors - doesn’t it sometimes feel like when we have 45 different color options we’re paralyzed by choice? This one only comes in THIS lovely and wearable sheer red, THIS* juicy berry, a clear, and the aforementioned nude*, which, if we’re being completely honest, has changed our life.

The only reason we tried this gloss is because we were already hooked on the brand’s night cream* -and frankly, the entire skincare line is lovely especially if you have sensitive skin or general reactivities but want something with real efficacy.

It feels like we’ve been searching for our perfect nude gloss for so long, we don’t even know what to do now that we’ve found it.

Join us in this unsettling feeling.

And the brand was kind enough to give us an (unsponsored) code for you to use. Use CANDIDLY20 to get 20% off.
